What Happened to Gift Card Converter After Dragons’ Den?

Gift Card Converter appeared on Dragons’ Den in 2007, Series 5 Episode 3. The business was a website exchanging/purchasing gift cards. No deal was made — the Dragons decided not to invest. The company was dissolved in 2014.

The Pitch

Allan Brown & Simon Jamieson walked into the Den in 2007 with a website exchanging/purchasing gift cards. They were asking for £80,000 in exchange for 15% of the business.

Despite their best efforts, the pitch didn’t convince the Dragons to open their wallets.

No deal was made. The Dragons weren’t persuaded to invest, and Allan Brown & Simon Jamieson left the Den without backing.

What Happened After the Show
